XIII.P Quazi-Developed

Our fundamental approach is econo-centric, in that the first filter we use to differentiate is on the basis of the maturity stage of the economies targeted. We thus have Quazi-Developed Economies with GDP per capita of between US$ 9 001 to 17 000.

The GDP per capita is the fundamental but not the only indicator that we use. In accordance with the Global Competitive Index (as developed by the World Economic Forum), we have further extrapolated the global standing of Quazi-Developed Economies  on the following and as follows:

  1. – Institutional development/maturity (good to very good);
  2. – Infrastructure (good to very good);
  3. – Macro Economic status (good to very good);
  4. – Health and Primary Education (good to very good);
  5. – Higher Education & Training (good to very good);
  6. – Goods Market efficiency (good to very good);
  7. – Labour Market Efficiency (good to very good);
  8. – Financial Market Development (good to very good);
  9. – Technological Readiness (good to very good);
  10. – Market Size (good to very good);
  11. – Business Sophistication (good);
  12. – Innovation (good).
